Former Ghanaian actor turned National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary aspirant for the Ayawaso West Constituency, John Dumelo, has come to the aid of the residents of Shiashie who were affected by the fire.

The aspirant donated relief items to the squatters whose abodes were razed by the fire last weekend in Accra. He could be seen holding food items and distributing to residents who were affected by the fire outbreak.

“Over the past few days, we have constantly fed the residents of Shiashie who were affected by the fire. #idey4u #isharethelittleihave.” He wrote on his Twitter page.

News broke out earlier that fire had razed about 100 kiosks which serve as shelter for some squatters at Shiashie in the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency in Accra.

John Dumelo was immediately on the scene as he was seen comforting an old lady who had lost a lot to the fire.
