Nananom Launches Educational Fund To Enhance Educational Support For Needy Students
In an address to launch the Educational Fund to sponsor the needy students, the Chief of Kwahu Bokuruwa Nana Obeng Poku Tanor ll, noted that, human resource development has remained a critical ingredient to the development of every community.

An educational fund has been set up at Kwahu Bukuruwa, in the Kwahu East District of the Eastern Region to commemorate Bukuruwa Kwahu Easter Festival at a durbar to climax the occasion, which was attended by thousands of people.
In an address to launch the Educational Fund to sponsor the needy students, the Chief of Kwahu Bokuruwa Nana Obeng Poku Tanor ll, noted that, human resource development has remained a critical ingredient to the development of every community.
In this sense, he encouraged chiefs and traditional officers holders to be committed to help educate the young ones to prepare them to achieve their educational aspirations.
He urged the people of Kwahu Bokuruwa to inculcate good moral standards and character into the school going age children.
Nana Obeng Poku Tanor ll, expressed optimism that, he considers it as a priority to support the brilliant but needy students in education and further stressed, the fund would impact positively in many youth to achieve their aim.
Nana Poku Tanor ll acknowledged how expensive it is to educate children but said the Chief and elders of Kwahu Bokuruwa are determined to support the youth in education.
He used the opportunity to advise the youth to eschew all social vices and take their studies serious.
He stressed the needed for the people in Kwahu Bokuruwa to take full advantage of the opportunity and sustain the fund.
