After leaving Angel FM, Nana Yaa Brefo did an interview with Blakk Rasta on 3FM. In the interview, she discussed her reasons for leaving the company, even though Dr. Kwaku Oteng, the owner, is a wealthy guy and could have paid her well.

Nana Yaa Brefo claims that she quit Angel FM due to the cowardice of her previous employer, Doctor Kwaku Oteng, rather than financial gain.

She says that due of his timidity, Doctor Kwaku Oteng prevented her from accomplishing a lot of things.

She said that she aspired to work so effectively that, at the end of the day, she could satisfy her supervisors, herself, and her listeners, but she was never given the chance to do so.

She says that although she intended to discuss some current events on her platform, her boss, Doctor Kwaku Oteng, never gave her permission.

She continued by saying that there were moments when she really wanted to connect with her audience, but her supervisor had made that hard as well.

Money is not the issue. I am aware that you would likewise conclude that the explanation is something you are unable to accept. It has to do with the work. You're eager to work. Your goal is to win over people. Your goal is self-satisfaction. You feel compelled to work with a specific space and be authentic, but that isn't happening. No matter what, you never achieve the satisfaction. Regardless of the cash they offer you," she remarked.

"You would like to connect with the individuals. You are a morning person, therefore you want to do morning, and if that is not happening, you want to talk openly about what is occurring in Ghana at that specific moment. she added.

She also says that despite her boss's best efforts, she was determined to go on with her resignation.

According to Nana Yaa Brefo, all attempts to persuade her to reverse her decision by enlisting the help of friends, coworkers, and other supporters failed.

They weren't content. Before I wrote the letter on December 1st, I wanted to go back in time. I believe I had already made my decision, she added, but they called and attempted to get me to change my mind. They even got my coworkers involved.
