The Chief (Odikro) of Gomoa Dominase in the Central Region, Nana Okogyedom Safo Kantanka Atta IX, has threatened that the people of Dominase would no longer be under umbrella body of Akyempim Traditional Area if they are not given them what are due them.

The Chief (Odikro) of Gomoa Dominase in the Central Region, Nana Okogyedom Safo Kantanka Atta IX, has threatened that the people of Dominase would no longer be under umbrella body of Akyempim Traditional Area if they are not given them what are due them.
 
Addressing a crowded press conference, Nana Okogyedom Safo Kantanka Atta IX who sounded historical stated that the Akyempim Traditional Council headed by Obrifo Ahunako Ahor Ankobia II has been cheating the people of Dominase for long times.
 
He noted that they have realized that it is now the time for them to rise up to demand their shares from the Akyempim Traditional Council.
 
"The history of Gomoa Dominase tell us that Gomoa Dominase was independent.The first Odikro of Gomoa Dominase was part of the warriors who defeated the then Agonaman," he stressed.
According to Nana Okogyedom Safo Kantanka Atta IX, after the defeat of the Agonaman they gave some position to the then first Odikro of Gomoa Dominase, Nana Kwaatta I as the Gyasehene of Gomoa Assin State.
"But due to certain things they pulled out from Assin Traditional Area which everything they did at Gomoa Dominase was done by themselves not from the government 
According to Nana Okogyedom Safo Kantanka Atta IX, from what is going on and what they are hearing made them to petition Omanhen of Akyempim Traditional Council if they are not given what Gomoa Dominase is due they will pulled out from Gomoa Akyempim Traditional Council.
