Nana Addo attends Sierra Leone's Independence Day
The president has left to Sierra Leone as part of his duties as ECOWAS chairman

President Akufo-Addo has left Ghana for Sierra Leone to attend the Independence anniversary of the country.
He is attending the event in his capacity as the Chairman of the ECOWAS body.
Akufo-Addo was accompanied by senior officials of Government including the foreign affairs ministry
The President is expected to return later today, April 27, 2021.
Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, is acting in his stead.
