The prospect of NABCO trainees amidst the imminent expiration of the three-year contract has taken a center stage in public discourse. Notwithstanding the launch of the Career Pathway Transition Process (CPTP) by management, beneficiaries are still not sure of what the future holds for them after the contract expiration. NABTAG has incessantly been assuring trainees of a positive outcome of its petition to the President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo, seeking for permanent employment after the three-year contract, which was designated for equipping them with job readiness skills.

NABTAG is pleased to reassure all NABCO beneficiaries that the president’s commitment to investing in the youth through job creation, is in the process of birthing a laudable outcome, as he has indicated in an interview during his tour in the Bono East Region on the 10th of August, 2021, that trainees who have chosen to work within the Public Sector and have responded to the questionnaires will be given permanent employment in accordance with their respective modules.

NABTAG would like to thank the president for rounding up his compassion in responding to the cry of the youth for sustainable jobs. For our hardworking Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Ibrahim Anyars, our Regional and District Coordinators, and all supporting staff of the NABCO scheme, trainees are most grateful for your hard work in this feat.

On this note, trainees are advised to ensure that they comply to the CPTP directives and work hard in their respective organizations of placement.

NB: The association (herein referred to as NABTAG) shall migrate its objective of spearheading welfare-related concerns after securing permanent employment into an upgraded format, which has been agreed upon to hold the name NABCO Graduates Association of Ghana (NABGAG). NABGAG's mandate will be to push for the welfare of graduates of NABCO and engineer solidarity amongst its members.

We have created virtual platforms to kickstart the journey. We have published the links for interested trainees to join.
