Ceccy Twum has explained why she will never allow her husband to interfere in her business.

The gospel musician said this while speaking about other gospel artists who allow their spouses to manage their music careers.

Per her own experience, her business and her marital affairs are two separate parts of her life that should not be allowed to mix unless it is absolutely necessary.

Her husband respects her space and does not stress her and she also respects his space and does not stress him when it comes to career issues.

Even though she is married to a pastor, he will never take charge of her business because that is not his job.

She explained how misunderstandings during music sessions will automatically lead to misunderstandings in the marriage because not everyone can separate things properly.

“Maybe he would want me to do something and I might not want it that way and that can cause misunderstanding for me. So for me, I am not for my husband managing me.

"My husband doesn’t have time to be following me so I don’t put stress on him. While he is doing his own thing, I don’t want to put pressure on him,” She said in an interview with Hitz FM.

Using other gospel artists as an example, she noted that no female gospel artiste has been so far successfully managed by their spouses, the likes of Philippa Baafi, Ohemaa Mercy, Gifty Adorye, Joyce Blessing, Obaapa Christy at some point in their careers were managed by their husbands.

According to her, it is harmful to do business with spouses because it can cause a lot of unnecessary problems.

“Doing business with your husband can cause a lot of problems."
