Controversial American rapper Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar, professional known as Cardi B has revealed her intentions in filing for the Nigerian citizenship following the killing of Iran’s Quds Force Commander, Gen. Qasem Soleimani in an airstrike that was ordered by United States of America’s President, Donald Trump.

This announcement was made on her official twitter page while describing the move by the US President Trump as ‘the dumpest’ and said the act by the number one citizen of her country is putting lives of Americans in danger.

Speaking via twitter, Cardi B wrote, “Naaaaa these memes are fuckin ???????? ????but shit ain’t no joke ! Specially being from New York . Its sad this man is putting Americans live in danger. Dumbest move Trump did till date …I’m filing for my Nigerian citizenship.”

However, Cardi B’s tweet caught the eyes of Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the Senior Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, who encouraged the rapper to make the move.

Also, President Muhammadu Buhari’s personal assistance on social media, Bashir Ahmad, replied the comment made by the American rapper, saying Cardi B’s tweets show that Nigeria is her preferred country and depicted that Nigeria is bigger than Ghana.

In Bashir Ahmad’s opinion, the Nigeria vs Ghana debate is closed following the choice of the multiple-award winning rapper.
