Ghanaian International Sulley Muntari has credited Inter Milan`s treble winning to Jose Mourinho and Massimo Moratti.

Muntari, during his time with the Neruzurri, helped his club win the UEFA Champions League, Coppa Italia and Serie A titles respectively in 2009/10.

The former Inter midfielder, has showered praises on former President Massimo Moratti and Manager Jose Mourinho for the remarkable feat which was tougher to achieve then.

“We were a great team, built by two great people in Massimo Moratti and José Mourinho," he told derbyderbyderby.it.

"We won everything. The relationship with Mourinho is still very good today," he explained.

“We are always in touch. We speak to each other almost every day, we have a chat consisting of the treble winners. Almost every morning someone writes something. Apart from the four who always tease me, Orlandoni, Materazzi, Chivu and Sneijder, everyone else is a good guy [laughs]."

The midfielder played very integral role and was almost an ever present during that treble season.

Muntari is currently without a club having left Spanish side Albacete, made a total of 97 appearances across all competitions for Inter during a 4-year stay with the Italian giants.
