Ghanaian actress Nikki Samonas has urged her compatriot not to let their guards down despite the lifting of the ban by the president.

She claimed that it is at times like these that people tend to become complacent, because the lifting of the ban represents a significant step to normalcy by the country. 

She urged that Ghana is in to continue protecting themselves as what each individuals does now matters in the fight against the virus. She suggested that if individuals could fight against the spread of the virus, then the news surrounding the pandemic would be positive.

 “I will say this again: self-discipline, self-discipline and vigilance. Everyone is not as sensible as you, so protect yourself! Don’t let the freedom fool you. Wear a mask, still wash your hands and wash your brains, too,” she said. 

Nikki made her please on a Facebook post on Monday, as she advised Ghanaians not to get ahead of themselves and ruin the good work already set in motion by being reckless after the lockdown

Ghana has so far recorded 1,154 cases of Coronavirus.
