The founder and Chief Executive Officer(CEO), of Baras Fashion, has made a passion to the government to as a matter of urgency turn attention to the craft industry.

He appealed to part of his admonitions to the ten(10) fashion designers who graduated from his outfit last Sunday, October 8, 2023, at its, Ashaiman-Lebanon location.

Out of the 10 designer graduates, only one was a male. Given that the youth possesses special skills amidst unemployment challenges, he is passionately appealing to the government to prioritize the craft industry as it continues to be the number

r one art selling the country's beautiful culture. The move, according to him will deepen the already trendy "fabrics and wears" from Ghana thereby creating the needed demathatich will intend to open up job opportunities.

"Considering the benefits the craft industry tends to bring to Ghana, it will be worthwhile if the powers that be will redirect attention in that regard", the CEO of Mr. Baras Fastion firmly asserts.

The colorful graduation ceremony, which brought together fashion lovers in and around Ashaiman-Lebanon, was interspersed with a series of fashion shows ranging from casual wear, beach wear, wedding gowns, stage wear, dinner wear evening wear to outfits fit for corporate use amidst sheers from the appreciating crowd.

The outfits showcased, according to the CEO, were the various outfits sewed by the graduates to ascertain their readiness for the job market.

Spiced by dramatic display, Mr. Baras demonstrated his artistic display of theatre to the admiration of the crowd.

Mr. Baras entreated the graduates to demonstrate the spirit of tireless commitment and unrelenting resolve to ensure the success of their chosen field.

On his part, the only male among nine males, Joseph Atsu Dormekpor, it takes willingness and determination to enable him to make such an enviable history.

According to him, it was history because he was teaching and at the same time learned on a part-time basis. He said that anything a person commits him or herself to, there is a chance of success therefore urged the youth not to sleep on their inborn talents.

He called on decision-makers to purposefully assist the youth within their circles to learn a trade in addition to their classroom education.
