Mourinho nominated as Manager of the Month

The first boss is nominated with four other managers including Nuno Espirito Santos.

Jose Mourinho has been nominated along with Nuno Espirito Santos, Ralph Hasenhuttl, David Moyes and Dean Smith for the manager of the month award in October.

The Spurs manager enjoyed two wins in three games, as his side notched 10 goals with the heaviest against Manchester United.

The former manager of the Red Devils was victorious at Old Trafford by 6-1 before a 3-3 result with West Ham. They later sealed the month with a win over Burnley.

Nuno went unbeaten in three Matchdays as he recorded wins against Fulham, Leeds United and Crystal Palace to guide Wolves to the sixth position of the Premier League table.

Ralph Hasenhuttl ended Everton’s five-game unbeaten run at the Saint Mary’s and recorded a home win also against West Bromwich Albion. Jannik Vestergaard’s late goal at Stamford Bridge gave his side a 3-3 draw at Chelsea.

David Moyes faced four of last season’s top six and amassed five points out of four matches. He oversaw a 3-0 win against Leicester along with draws against Spurs and City.  He lost to Liverpool by 2-1.

Dean Smith’s 7-2 victory over Liverpool was accompanied by a victory over Leicester.

Carlo Ancelotti is the holder of the accolade for the Month of September.
