Mason Mount could miss the Champions League semifinals second leg against Real Madrid game through injury.

The Blues midfielder was forced off the game against Fulham after a back injury on Saturday. Although Chelsea won the game by 2-0, hearts were in mouths as Chelsea fans wondered if their talisman would be available for the Champions League game on Wednesday.

"I hope really that Mason is not a big thing and hopefully he can full recover for Real Madrid," Coach Thomas Tuchel said after the game.

"It was my decision, there was not any doctor or physio who told me to take him off, but I saw him landing hard and it was the moment when we wanted to take him off anyway.

"I saw him holding his back slightly, so we didn't want to take any risks."

Mason Mount has been on form for Chelsea this season and was a key figure in the first leg of the Champions League against Real Madrid when a 1-1 scoreline was recorded.

Los Blancos visit Stamford Bridge and the game will require the skillfulness of Mount to determine whether Chelsea can qualify to the finals of the competition since 2012.
