Morgan Heritage's record "The Homeland" will include Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy

The Homeland, the latest studio record from the three-time Grammy Award-winning reggae group Morgan Heritage, featuring Peetah Morgan, Gramps Morgan, and Mr. Mojo Morgan, will be released on Friday, April 21.

The group's debut album since Denroy Morgan's passing last year is the 21-track, star-studded compilation.

With guest appearances from artists like Ghana's Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy, Popcaan, Youssou N'Dour, Shaggy, Beenie Man, and Mádé Kuti, among others, it ushers in a new era for Morgan Heritage as they broaden their worldwide reach from the Caribbean to the African Continent and beyond.

Built upon a legacy that spans decades and will continue to advance, this album represents a rebirth for the Morgan siblings.

They transport the listener on a journey through their music that not only conjures up memories of the past, but also the years to come.

Morgan Heritage will perform at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, travel the world later in the year, and start off a busy year with The Homeland.

In conjunction with the release of the album, Morgan Heritage shared the lead song, "Who Deh Like U," which features Bounty Killer, Cham, and Stonebwoy.

Finding someone to relate to you is challenging. Because of how special you are, even from a million miles away, your worth will never decrease, according to Mojo Morgan, who explains the song's significance. There won't be many people like you in the entire universe.

Following the successful release of their debut song and music video, "Just A Number," the album announcement was made. The song acts as an awareness anthem, igniting debate about cancel culture and the fleeting nature of celebrity.

Samo (Koffee, Chronixx, Protoje) is the director of the associated music video, which was shot at Independence Park (National Stadium) in Kingston, Jamaica.

Morgan Heritage will appear as a speaker for The Drop Series on March 28 at the GRAMMY Museum (at L.A. Live). The famous band's worldwide promotional tour will begin with this, and stops are scheduled in Los Angeles, New York, England, Germany, France, Uganda, and Ghana.
