The courtyard of Oman FM, Madina Zongo Junction, will host a 12-hour mass requiem this Saturday, March 9, 2024, in honor of the late broadcast journalist Martin Kwabena Kwakye.

The program honors Kwabena Kwakye, the broadcaster, for his contributions to the Ghanaian media landscape and is one of the events planned for the one-week observation of the late Wofa K. K.

Wofa K. K. was a broadcast journalist for Oman FM until his untimely death. The mass ceremony, "Harmony In Remembrance of a Broadcast Legend - The Life and Legacies of Wofa K. K," will take place there on the forecourt from 7 am to 7 pm. He was Director of Radio at Oman FM, a Kencity Media Limited.

Born on October 18, 1970, Wofa K. K.'s leadership had a big impact on how several radio stations in the nation operated. His career path took him through a number of positions and duties, such as News Editor at Adom FM and Head of the Political Desk at Multimedia. His dedication to excellence in media and journalism was evident during his time serving as the Vice Dean of the Presidential Press Corps.

Wofa K. K., who passed away, was blessed with four children from a marriage.

Notable figures including Dr. Joyce Aryee and Dr. Boadi Nyamekye are anticipated to attend. The Tagoe Sisters, Joe Beechem, Uncle Ato, and the Harmonious Chorale are among the musicians scheduled to perform at the event.
