Former Spurs manager, Tim Sherwood has made a disastrous claim that Manchester United have run out of money hence their inability to sign Jadon Sancho or Gareth Bale.

The Reds Devils have not been able to meet the Borussia Dortmund winger’s asking price since they expressed interest for more than five months now.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side seems relaxed after making their first signing in Ajax’s Donny van de Beek for £40m.

Additional reinforcements have not been concrete yet, leaving Jack Grealish to commit his future to Aston Villa on Tuesday afternoon.

Gareth Bale's admission to play for his former side to Sherwood means United have 'run out of money'.

“It’s great news for Aston Villa, what a signing that is,” Said Sherwood on talkSPORTS.

“I thought Jack Grealish was nailed on to go to Manchester United, but it’s quite clear after the Van de Beek deal they’ve run out of money.

“No Gareth Bale, no Jack Grealish, there’s no more money. There will be no Jadon Sancho that is for sure.

“They’ve run out of money, otherwise it was a no-brainer, in my opinion, to take that boy [Grealish] to Manchester United.”
