The District Chief Executive (DCE) for the Jaman North Constituency of the Bono Region, Honorable Solomon Owusu has asserted that people who are prepared to build new houses must ensure the provision of toilet facilities to lessen the pressure on the public toilets in the country.

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for the Jaman North Constituency of the Bono Region, Honorable Solomon Owusu has asserted that people who are prepared to build new houses must ensure the provision of toilet facilities to lessen the pressure on the public toilets in the country.

Honorable Solomon Owusu made this Known to Kankam Boadu on Gye Nyame FM's breakfast show dubbed Adeakye Abia stating that establishing toilet facilities in households is one of the greatest priority of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government to ensure good sanitation in the country hence people who are financially stable to construct new houses must add latrine as well to facilitate the government good sanitation agenda since the government is ready to assist stressing that public toilet facilities may be only significant at public places if individuals can add toilets as part of the construction of their house. 

Honorable Solomon Owusu Added that despite the Central Government support for the MMDAs across the country, the Jaman North district has been awarded a lot of contacts with the internally generated funds which has yielded a positive impact on the development of the District stating that NPP is the only party within a North district who always make good used of the internally Generated Funds for the benefit of the district.

He explained that a fraction of the IGF of the assembly has been used to procure furniture for some schools within the districts as well as the newly constructed courthouse adding that the Goka market center has been awarded to the contractor for upgrading purposes in his tenure as DCE.
