THE FLAGBEARER of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), former President H.E John Dramani Mahama, has thanked scores of the chiefs, queen-mothers and traditional office holders for showing massive love for him during his visit to this year's Kwahu Easter festivities.

"The Eastern Regional chapter of the National Democratic Congress extends its heartfelt appreciation to the esteemed Kwahu chiefs, dedicated businessmen, party executives, volunteers, various groups, associations, and all stakeholders whose invaluable contributions made HE President John Dramani Mahama's presence and activities at the Kwahu Easter both successful and historic.
"We are deeply thankful to the chiefs of Kwahuman for their warm reception of HE President John Dramani Mahama and the NDC delegation. Your hospitality and support are invaluable to us," the commendation contained in a press statement signed by the Eastern Regional Communications officer, Mr Kojo Danquah.
The statement which was copied to Soireenews.com expressed gratitude to all businessmen and women who actively participated in the Kwahu Business Forum with HE President John Dramani Mahama, adding that "Your engagement and insights were truly appreciated."
It noted that the region extend special thanks to all comrades and the people of Kwahuman for their enthusiastic participation in the 24-Hour Economy Sensational 10,000 Walk.
"Your energy and commitment were instrumental in making the event a resounding success.
"On behalf of HE President John Dramani Mahama, we want to assure the chiefs, businessmen, and the people of Kwahuman that all critical points and opinions shared during our interactions have been carefully noted and will be taken into consideration.
"Your continued support and votes in the upcoming December 7th general election are crucial for HE President John Dramani Mahama and the NDC parliamentary candidates to fulfill all matters discussed and to continue our work for the development and progress of our region and nation," the statement noted.
