The Parliamentary hopeful of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Lower West Akim constituency of the Eastern Region, Mr Owen Kwame Frimpong, popularly known as Darling Boy on Monday January 23, 2023 donated street bulbs to the market women who have requested to help them scare away thieves during their departure time everyday.

The market women through their leaders received these bulbs with so much joy and gratitude especially when they've been longing for these since a year ago.
All their efforts to get it from the assembly and MP have fell on deaf ears until Darling Boy came and got to know about it and delivered it to them today.
During the donation, the NDC'S parliamentary hopeful admonished them to channel their further requests through his party Executives who are also in the market in order for him to get it and respond accordingly.
