Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp really wants to bring Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder, Florian Neuhaus to Anfield this summer, Sport 1 reports.

Klopp is desperately looking forward to bolstering his central midfield ranks at Anfield this summer.

Gini Wijnaldum recently left to link up with Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer.

The Reds have already been linked with a big-money move to sign Saul from Atletico Madrid yet it seems the Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Florian Neuhaus is the man who Klopp really wants.

However, the Liverpool boss may well be left disappointed in his pursuit of the six-capped Germany international.

It is suggested that the 24-year-old would command a fee of around £35 million, and with the Merseyside outfit hardly flush with cash, that fee will represent a big problem for Klopp.

Neuhaus would be a very useful addition to Liverpool. He bagged six goals and five assists in 33 Bundesliga games for Gladbach last season.

During those outings, the German averaged 1.5 tackles and 1.5 interceptions per match. He made 52.9 passes on the average per game and recorded a completion rate of 84.4%.

Neuhaus can play as an orthodox central midfielder or as a defensive midfielder.

£35 million seems like a good value for the German international and that fee is allegedly out of the question for Liverpool.
