Samini has called on all Ghanaians to put partisan politics aside for the sake of development in the country.

The dancehall artiste congratulated both Ghanaians and President-elect Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo while also asking his fellow citizens to support the President-elect in the endeavours he is now set to embark on for the good of the nation.

While commending NDC flagbearer former President John Dramani Mahama for the peaceful way they conducted themselves during the just-ended presidential and parliamentary elections, he maintained that the major priority in Ghana and everything else falls under her.

He shared this message on social media, as he made sure to emphasise that the major winner in the election was Ghanaian herself.

"Big congratulations to the whole of Ghana for putting Ghana first, congratulations to everybody that went out to vote ... thank you for making this a peaceful and transparent election. Thank you for not making violent," he said in the video he shared on social media.
