Lady Found Dead in A Stagnant Water in Takoradi

A lady believed to be in her early twenty's has been found floating in stagnant water at one of the quarry sites between Ephraim and Agric township a suburb in the Sekondi/Takoradi Metropolis.

The police at Kojokrom top told Soireenews.com in an interview that, a resident, Sadam Husein on Sunday morning reported to them that, a body in a light green top and skirt dress was floating in stagnant water around Ephraim and Agric communities.

The police however rushed to the scene where they conveyed the decayed body.

The actual cause of the lady's death is yet to be identified but the body has been deposited at the Effia-Nkwanta Regional morgue for autopsy and investigations.

The incident however has paraded fear and panic amongst residents of the area.
