The story of Messi and La Liga is getting intense after Jorge Messi, the Argentine forward’s father responded to La Liga claims that the 700m euro release clause of his son is no longer active.
Minutes after the news, La Liga have defended their stance and reminded the Barcelona captain and his representatives that the "the 700m euro clause is absolutely valid"
"From LaLiga, we have issued a response to the message sent from the environment of the player Leo Messi," it read.
