Ghanaian comedian, KSM, recently stated that he stopped going to church because the bible is filled with contradictions that he cannot seem to grasp.

He explained his side of the story with the cases of Abraham and Saul, saying that the bible treats God as an Ordinary human being instead of a Divine Spirit. Immediately after his interview, Ghanaians were quick to drop their thoughts about his reservations on the bible.

His reservations were these; that if God is all-knowing and all-powerful as the bible says, He did not need to put Abraham to the test.

He would have known what Abraham would do.

KSM also pointed to the part in the scripture that says God regretted making Saul a King and questioned how the Almighty Deity would behave like a human being.

”I have a problem with the bible in terms of there are too many contradictions. Let me give you a quick example. The bible itself says God is all-knowing. Before tomorrow, God already knows what I, KSM, will do. So, if you say you have this all-knowing God, all-powerful God, and then somewhere in the bible tells you that God had to go and test Abraham to see whether he was loyal, are you not contradicting yourself? God should have known that Abraham will not kill the boy. You’re God. You’re almighty; you know everything. But if you tell me God tested him (Abraham), I have a problem with it. These are some of the contradictions.

”Those who wrote the bible wrote it from the point of view that we’re humans and so let us attribute the same human qualities to God. So, God gets angry. In the bible, you’ll find God angry. He said I have regretted that I made Saul King. God is not human. God doesn’t have the attributes of a human being to be angry”, he said.

Ghanaians were quick to tender their numerous views, with the majority not agreeing with what the KSM show host had said. A Ghanaian named Kwesi said:

"Before the white man came, you didn't have computer, mobile phone, internet, vehicles, aeroplanes and many other things. Why don't you abandon all the inventions of the white man. Why is the Bible the only thing you want to discard? Some of you guys are just interesting"

"What's interesting about his misplaced comment? What have computers and airplanes got to do with our spiritual welfare? Those (the whites) who brought us the bible together with the computer and the aeroplane, today they do not believe what is in the Bible anymore." Another named Djambe said."

"Masa, stop being stupid. What makes you think the white man invented those things you talking about? You're terribly gullible. You don't even know the history of all those things you're talking about. FYI, your slave masters stole our ideas/inventions and made them theirs. Educate yourself, man, know thyself." One who identified himself as KK.

To top the comments off a Ghanaian named Kwame boss, dropped a lengthy review of the interview.

"KSM, In some sense I agree with you, and in another sense I disagree with. I agree with you when you bash some of the so called Prophets, for claiming to see everything and prophesy everything, but they did not see corona coming. I will also like to introduce you to a Prophet who prophesied corona way back in December 2015. Please watch him on youtube, his name is Prophet Owuor from Kenya...if you have never met a true prophet like you alluded to, Prophet Owuor is one true Prophet of God, I have followed him for over 7 years now, and everything he has prophesied has happened...he is now currently prophesying the imminent rapture of the true Christians and it will also happen."

"Now, I don't agree with you, when you say because of the contradictions in the bible, you don't believe the bible. The contradictions in the bible only point to the fact that GREAT IS THE MYSTERY OF "GOD"...the bible uses the word Godliness...but what the bible really means in 1 Cor 1:25-27 is that God cannot be fully comprehended, God is a God who shrouds Himself in mystery. For example before God created the devil, he knew that Lucifer after some time will rebel, but he created him anyways! Why! The answer is because He is God, and He gets to do what He wants, how He wants, and the humblest thing that you as a human being can do is to accept Him by faith and not challenge Him."

"l can even say that God created Lucifer to rebel, because without Lucifer's rebellion, there is no introduction of SIN, without SIN, there's no need for JESUS CHRIST. So what you see as contradictions are actually God's wise plan in action. That is why the bible says, without faith it is impossible to please God. You also have to realize that God's main agenda was to reveal Jesus Christ to mankind, and yes he knew Abraham will not kill the boy, but the greater reason for the Abraham and Isaac sacrificial incident was not even to test Abraham, but rather God wanted to show a forcast of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. How?"

"Well, because if you know the bible, you will know that both Isaac and Jesus Christ, submitted their will to the will of their fathers...and that is what God really really wanted in all of this. You see it was even God who graced Abraham and caused him to be even able to decide to sacrifice his son Isaac. Perhaps what you are struggling with is the fact that God is Sovereign and He has the right to do and decide whatever he wants, how He wants it. He is God, He loved Jacob and He hated Essau even before the two were born, He had already decided whom he loved, and whom he hated...why? because He is God and in His righteousness, He gets to call the shots anyhow and anyway He wants it. This is why Paul asked the question...so is there unrighteousness with God, and he answers his own question by saying NO."

"So if you are wise, you will fear God and accept Him by faith. He is the one who sends one person to heaven and sends another person to hell, and KSM cannot do anything about it. I choose to fear Him and serve Him in holiness, and I encourage KSM and all other doubters to do the same. It's not wrong to ask questions, Peter asked Jesus questions, but don't let your questions cause you to doubt the bible or Jesus, but rather let your questioning lead you to believe the bible even more. The Bible is God's word, whether KSM agrees with it or not. Please I beg you choose God and choose Jesus Christ. KSM, make your father proud and meet him in heaven one day. Don't end up in hell one day, while your father Mr. Sintim may be in heaven, he'd be very happy to see that his boy made it. Choose wisely! Choose Jesus Christ! Choose the bible! God bless you, and may God help us all." He concluded.
