N’Golo Kante would not be part of Frank Lampard’s project for next season as speculations have revealed that the French International is nearing an exit.

According to Calciomercato, Antonio Conte is looking to reignite with the World Cup winner amidst his frequent injuries during his Chelsea spell.

Kante has made 22 appearances this season and has scored three goals.

He has missed the last four matches in league and cup because of a hamstring injury, which sometimes presents the manager with limited options due to his keyness in the Blues' three-man midfield this term.

Kante missed Chelsea’s 5-3 beating at Anfield by Champions, Liverpool, and is still not deemed fit enough to return in their final game against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Chelsea will sell the 29-year old at a reasonable price to support the purchase of transfer targets, Kai Havertz, and a probable goalkeeper ahead of next season.
