Harry Kane is pushing for a move away from Tottenham Hotspurs.

The England captain is yet to feature for the London club this season after being left out of the game against Manchester City, which Spurs won through Son’s only goal in the second half.

The 28-year old reported to training on Friday and was deemed not fit enough to feature in the Premier League game although he would be available in the Europa League Conference on their fixture list on Thursday.

"Harry, Like Bryan, Cristian Romero, they joined us later. For Cristian and Bryan it was very important to be here today," Nuno said after the game.

"To feel the atmosphere and be in the stadium and be in the hotel, attending the meeting, but knowing they don't have too many sessions with us. Harry worked this morning, he is preparing himself and when he is ready he will join the group and help the team."

The Daily Telegraph report the England captain has thrown down the gauntlet to Daniel Levy to make good on an understanding that he could leave Tottenham if the club failed to win a trophy or finished outside the top four last season.

Spurs failed to win the League cup after they were defeated by Tottenham 1-0 at Wembley, placing 7 with 62 points behind West Ham and Leicester City.

Manchester City's bid for the Spurs forward remains at £125m, the paper states, but Levy 'won't talk' to the Premier League champions.

The Premier League transfer window closes on Tuesday, 31 August at 23:00 BST, being open for a total of 12 weeks since Wednesday, 9 June.
