The Coalition of Grassroot Supporters of New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Techiman North and South in the Bono East Region has advised members of the party to desist from the ‘pull him down’ attitude and propagate a good message about the ruling party to enable it to retain power in coming years.

The group lauded the DCE for Techiman North, Peter Mensah and John Kofi Donyina, MCE of Techiman South, for their maturity in handling provocative and delicate matters.

The grassroots supporters said the leadership and maturity displayed by the two chief executives in handling provocative and incessant attacks on their hard-won reputation “is exceptional and worth of commendation”.

They noted that recent attacks on the two personalities are mere propaganda by some MMDCE aspirants “who think that pulling their colleagues down through the use of the media will secure them an automatic leverage to catch the attention of the President”.
