Kumasi Asante Kotoko will be aiming to put one foot in this season`s CAF Champions League Group stage by hosting Etoile Du Sahel of Tunisia at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday, 15th September.
Head coach of Asante Kotoko, Kjetil Zachariassen, will have the two dominant midfielders Jordan Opoku and Augustine Okra available for selection after missing in action against Kano Pillars, due to registration issues.
Asante Kotoko beat Nigerians Kano Pillars 4:3 on aggregate to qualify for the last qualifying round in the preliminary round. Now they face Etoile Du Sahel who were champions in the 2007 Champions League campaign.
The Porcupine Warriors overcame their bitter rivals Accra Hearts of Oaks on penalties in the just ended GFA Normalizations Cup competition and have been in a good form, winning three of their last five competitive games (W3 D1 L1).
