Jaman North MP cut sod for construction of Gari processing Factory at Jamera

The Member of Parliament for Jaman North Constituency, Mr. Ahenkwaa Yaw Frederick has cut sod for the construction of a Cassava Processing Factory for the people of Jamera, community in the constituency.

The Member of Parliament for Jaman North Constituency, Mr. Ahenkwaa Yaw Frederick has cut sod for the construction of a Cassava Processing Factory for the people of Jamera, community in the constituency.

 The initiative is in partnership with BOK Africa, IOM, and GIZ, non-governmental organizations advocating against irregular migration on the side of Ghanaian youth.

 During the sod-cutting ceremony, Mr. Ahenkwaa Yaw Frederick stated that this is a delivery of part of his mandate as it was requested by women of Jamera and Kabire during the campaign season prior to election 2020.

He added that he will foot the bill of electrification of the Jamera and the already constructed Dawiri cassava processing Factory so as to commence activities together for the development of the District and Ghana at large.

Nana Sah Fufuo II

Nana Sah Fufuo II, Chief of Jamera Traditional Council on behalf of his people expressed gratitude to the MP for what he has done for them.

He however pleaded with the youth in the community to begin the preparation towards the acquisition of raw materials (cassava) to keep the factory in operation after completion.

He also urged Mr. Frederick Ahenkwaa to also support them with capital to commence operation.

Mr. Kwaku Yeboah, a representative from BOK Africa, IOM, and GIZ, on the other hand, pleaded with the youth of the area to support the construction of the factory in kind as a contribution from the community to enable them to complete the structure on time.
