The Minister Designate for Employment and Labour Relations and MP for Sunyani West, Ignatius Baffour Awuah has stated that Nana Addo's NPP-led administration created over three million jobs within the four years they took power.

He made this known today Wednesday 17 February 2021 when he appeared before the appointment committee for vetting.

Mr. Baffour explained that the Three Million Jobs created is a combination of both formal and private sector with the first four years’ term of President Akufo-Addo's government.

He went to explain that, not all could be realized or paid for controller and accountant general but others were also placed on contract basis which more or less had their employment as government contract.

The Employment and Labour Relations Minister Nominee gave these explanations when Member of Parliament for Bodi, Sampson Ahi together with the minority leader, Haruna Iddrisu delved into employment statistics giving by the Minister's documents supplied to the committee to ascertain how the said Three Million Jobs was created.

Mr. Baffour insisted on the Three Million figure and assured to submit details to the appointment committee if requested and he is allowed sometimes within today to produce it.
