Agent of Mesut Ozil, Kia Joorabchian says Arsenal’s gameplay with his client, putting him in limbo is ‘pure stupidity’.

The former Real Madrid player is yet to appear for the Gunners since Project Restart after being sidelined for seven months at the expense of £350,000-wage-per-week. Ozil’s name was omitted from the Gunner’s Premier and Europa League squad, a situation which burst out the player to speak on the 'dishonesty' of the English club towards him.

Arteta in an interview on Ozil’s situation addressed that he has failed to bring the best out of the German but as to leaving him behind until January, his conscience is clear on the matter and seem not bothered.

According to Kia, also the agent of Barca forward, Philippe Coutinho, Ozil and Arsenal are not helping each other in terms of the game, uttering that it’s a loss for either side.

“I don’t see any winners in this situation,” Joorabchian said on talkSPORT.

“Ozil is not teaching Arsenal a lesson by sitting out and not playing, and Arsenal are not teaching Ozil a lesson by omitting him from the Premier League squad.

“I don’t see who win in a situation where you don’t find an agreement between each other.

“It’s just pure stupidity.”

The Gunners had planned to terminate Ozil’s hefty contract which finishes at the end of the current season but the ‘loyalty’ of the player towards the Gunners as earlier penned means he will see out his contract.
