Inter Milan are having a tough time keeping their star man, Lautaro Martinez after Barcelona reportedly made the player an offer too difficult to reject.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Spanish club have proposed a salary of 10 million euros gross per season, a convincing amount to influence Martiez's decision to opt for a move to the Camp Nou.

The Italians are keen on keeping their starman yet his decision to join the Catalans means they have to agree on a deal to sell out the Argentine.

Barcelona’s deal with Inter are still on hold, after they sought to offer 60 million and other players entering in the operation but Inter only wanted 111million euros and nothing else for the sale of the 22- years old.

Lautaro wouldn't instantly be among the highest-paid players as Lionel Messi, Antoine Griezmann, Luis Suarez, Philippe Coutinho, Ousmane Dembele, Gerard Pique, Sergio Busquets and Arturo Vidal all have higher salaries than he is being offered.

His pay packet would, however, increase over time.

PSG are also monitoring the situation with Barca’s deal taking longer than expected.
