Irate Kwabena Traditional leaders Call for the head of MCE
They also revealed that the abject disregard of the Traditional leaders by the MCE which she said had lingered on for far too long has not argued well for the area hence their resolve not to tolerate her anymore.

The Queen mother of Kwabena within the Ga East Municipality of the Greater Accra Region, Naa Korkoi Djugbatey has called for the removal of the Kwabena Chief Executive Officer, Madam Elizabeth Kaakie Mann for what she termed "disregard of authority".
The angry Kwabenya Traditional Leaders in the Dome Kwabenya constituency have expressed their displeasure through a petition presented to the Office of the president and the Office of the Chief of staff calling on President Nana Akuffo Addo to sack the Ga East Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Elizabeth Kaakie Mann.
The Kwabenya Queen's mother, Naa Korkoi Djugbatey II in that petition today, expressed her displeasure over the conduct of the MCE.
The Queen mother, however, accused the MCE of what she termed several unlawful demolitions of her properties and hiding behind the government and the Ga East Municipal Assembly to illegally sell their Lands to private developers.
Naa Korkoi Djugbatey alleged that the MCE has sold a portion of their family land to an unnamed private developer which she has documents to prove.
In a petition presented to the Office of the President, the Queen's mother called for the removal of the MCE.
The traditional leaders maintained that the removal of the MCE would foster peace and that would drive development in the area.
The MCE, according to the Queen's mother has no regard for the chiefs and traditional leaders of the area therefore her removal would forestall peace and unity in the area.
The Queen mother further alleged that the MCE was running a parallel administration on their lands by taking decisions regarding the land without consulting the traditional authorities.
They also revealed that the abject disregard of the Traditional leaders by the MCE which she said had lingered on for far too long has not argued well for the area hence their resolve not to tolerate her anymore.
"If you undermine the Traditional authority of an area, there cannot be any progress. That is why we are calling for her removal", the Queen's mother observed.
"It has become necessary for us to petition both the Office of the Chief of Staff and the president to sack the Ga East MCE, Elizabeth Kaakie Mann", the petition stated.
There have been countless clashes between the Assembly and irate youth of the area over a portion of land occupied by the Ghana Atomic Energy Commission(GAEC) which portion of bland has since been under dispute.
