Several African presidents, as well as many Kenyans, have already come in the city for the funeral at the Nyayo National Stadium.
The late president's remains were transported from the funeral home to the State House in a military escort, which is leading the burial procession.
The soldiers have been marching in a procession to the venue of the service from State House.
