I’m Not Interested In NDC Running Mate Slot–Julius Debrah Rejects Running Mate Offer Of The Groups And Individuals
Mr Debrah who doubles as the former parliamentary candidate for Suhum Constituency of the ticket of the NFC in the Eastern Region insisted that he is not harbouring any presidential ambitions,he is focused on helping the nation’s largest opposition party, the NDC to return to power in January 2024.

The former Chief of Staff of Ghana, Mr Julius Debrah,has stated that he is not interested in becoming the flag bearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Mahama’s running mate going into the 2020 elections.
Mr Debrah who doubles as the former parliamentary candidate for Suhum Constituency of the ticket of the NFC in the Eastern Region insisted that he is not harbouring any presidential ambitions,he is focused on helping the nation’s largest opposition party, the NDC to return to power in January 2024.
He stressed that not harbouring any presidential ambition but focusing on helping my party and former President John Dramani Mahama to return to power in 2024 to the restore the national economy which has collapsed under the current President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
Some youth groups withing the NDC are lobbying for Mr. Debrah who is a closet friend of former President Dramani Mahama is to partner former President Mahama for the next general polls.
My attention has been drawn to numerous groups and individuals mentioning my name as a possible running mate to former President Dramani Mahama for the 2024 presidential election. In as much as it the desire for everybody to advance in whatever career they find themselves,
"l wish to disassociate myself from the sentiments expressed in the media by these groups individuals. Although such groups and persons might be motivated by a genuine trust and belief in my personal capacities, l wish to emphasize that l have expressed no such intention anywhere," Mr Debrah stated.
