Sonnie Badu has stated that he would very much like to see John Dumelo win the MP seat for the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency.

While everyone is waiting to know who the next President and Members of Parliament are going to be for the next four years, the artiste sent a message of comfort to his actor colleague on his Instagram page.

The Ayawaso West Wuogon will tightly contend because although John Dumelo is popular, he is also a member of the National Democratic Congress while the constituency is a stronghold of the New Patriotic Party(NPP).

Some of John Dumelo's colleagues, staunch NPP supporters, have also come out to oppose him in favour of his Lydia Alhasan.

Kalybos, Prince David Osei, Bismark the Joke, Cwesi Oteng and actress Bibi bright all came together to campaign against John Dumelo.

He has alternatively received massive support from other colleagues actors such as James Gardiner, Kofi Adjorlolo, Selly Galley and many others.

The newest of which came in on Monday, December 7, the Election Day, when UK-born Ghanaian singer Sonnie Badu wished him luck and expressed how proud he is of him.

He wrote: “Whiles I stay away from politics as advised by a wise man, I choose to wish this man, my brother and friend the best of luck..@johndumelo1. I am extremely proud of you…now guys hear me... I am a national asset and I serve all Presidents, but I would love to see this man win... I am so proud of you John,” he wrote.
