I Never Charge To Perform In Churches - MOG Music

MOG Music has announced that he doesn't collect money to perform in churches.

While speaking to Amansan Krakye an interview on Kastle FM he explained how it is his duty to minister in churches even though some churches still try and raise funds for him.

however, the gospel artiste noted that he does not go to minister in churches not expecting anything.

“I don’t charge for shows, to be honest, but there are systems in place based on what our veteran gospel musicians have been through. There are systems in place to help us to raise money and to save funds,”

“That doesn’t mean if you invite me for a church show I will be coming there just for nothing. I mean there must be a certain agreement that MOG has been invited so I decided to bless him with a certain amount”. He noted.

MOG further highlighted that there is a difference between him coming for a show and him coming to minister because the church wants to have a feel of his ministry.

He explained that his ministry might open doors for churches that are not financially sound so making a profit is not too on his list when he considers churches to go to. 

“But to say that I’m coming so let’s negotiate on the amount to be charged as for that one we don’t name our price. We only charge when it’s a corporate event as for that one we charge because with the church some really want to have a feel of my ministry."

“Maybe they might not be financially sound so through the song ministration God will also use it to open more opportunities for me so that’s the way I see it,” he told the host.

He concluded by saying he does not follow the money because the heart is more important in ministry.

According to him, there still needs to be some sort of remuneration so he doesn't end up begging for money in the future. 

“So I don’t follow the money per se but I follow the heart behind the money so through that God also connects me to some influential people who will help me in one way or the other which also bring me money."

“That’s how it is so even though I don’t charge for shows based on what our veteran musicians have been through we have put things in place so that in future there won’t be the situation where I have to go and beg for money,”
