Selina Boateng has lamented the deplorable state of the gospel industry in Ghana.

According to her presumptions, it is written that "where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there, therefore is a lot of beefs are coming up in the gospel industry it must mean that the artistes have strayed far away from God.

The award-winning artiste, while speaking on Okay FM with Abeiku Santana on the Ekwansodwodwo show expressed her disappointment at the self seeking nature of most gospel artistes.

It is this nature, she said, with some thinking themselves supreme over others and refuse to support others, that is causing the strife and hatred in the industry.

She highlighted the action of gospel artistes who sabotage the performances of their colleagues on stage just to look better forgetting that everyone is singing all for the glory of God.

Per her recollection, there have been instances where she was being awarded but some of her colleagues claimed that she never deserved it with others also accusing her of paying a bribe for the award.

Selina Boateng stated her disgust in the Gospel industry that is meant to be Christ-like and bring people together under the umbrella of God.
