I Don’t Want To Bleach Again - Bukom Banku

Bukom Banku has stated that he is no longer interested in bleaching his skin.

The Ghanaian boxer and musician who was quoted saying that he will not stop bleaching his skin earlier in the year 2021 despite the sound advice from friends and family has now admitted the error in his initial ways.

“Bleaching is not good but when the name is coming down and I do something and the name is coming up,” he said.

According to him, even though he understands how bad bleaching is, he still did it because he wanted to attract attention to his brand and get people talking about him.

He noted that the most influential people he depended on neglected him after his skin toning as he now regrets his old ways since bleaching can endanger his health as a boxer.

“Right now I am Black. I have stopped it because the big men in the nation gave me the advice to stop bleaching. The way when I am bleaching and people talk too much, I don’t want to bleach again, it’s not good.”

“If I continue one-day one-day it will give me another effect"

This he said while speaking to Joy FM.

“One side of my face will be burnt and some places will be red and black. If small boys see you by the road they will run.”

"Whenever I bleach, the big men who give me money get vexed because I am not a woman-lady, I’m not a gay,” he concluded.
