Ghana Afro-pop musician Stonebwoy, has said that he will self quarantine at Anloga Junction, staying away from his family for two weeks when he arrives back in Ghana, from an event that was popsponed in the United States of America due to the Coronavirus pandemic, in order to protect his wife and kids. 

He reavelad his selfless intentions to go self quarantine at the countryside during an interview with radio station Hits FM, explaining the importance of his family and how he would never endanger the lives of his wife and kids. 

He made the decision based on the fact that he not sure where he stands on the coronavirus saga, revealing that he does not know his own status, whether positive or negative, and the self quarantine will help reduce the spread of the virus to his family.

It is good to take precautions just to make sure everybody is safe. I’ll go to the countryside…It will be like a vacation for me, Now the Corona is everywhere so no one is running…From observation, it’s a big problem in the world but life has to go on.

He said "Before I will come home, I will be looking to self-quarantine…, I will be tempted, the kids go come around me, maybe I go dey some small place at the countryside for like two weeks you know.., it will be like a vacation for me, it is good to take precautions just to make sure everybody is safe,”

“The corona, now it’s everywhere so where are you running to, home? abroad? So whatever, but I will be coming home really soon because we’ve postponed and called off the event,” he continued.

He added that he and his team are at the moment fine and they are observing the precautions required not to contract the virus while in the US.
