I am The Best Candidate To Lead NPP In 2024 Polls! --Agornyrah Tells NPP Delegates, As He Files Nomination Forms
The famous Ghanaian business mogul, Mr David Nkegbe Agornyrah , the NPP parliamentary hopeful of the North Tongu
The famous Ghanaian business mogul, Mr David Nkegbe Agornyrah has urged the delegates and members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the North Tongu Constituency of the Volta Region to support him in his effort to lead the NPP to a resounding victory in the general election in 2024.

"The NPP should expect that I am going to win the North Tongu parliamentary seat hands down should delegates and members of the party in the area vote massively for me to emerge as a winner in the upcoming NPP parliamentary candidate race.

"...this is because the almost majority of the constituents are completely fed up with the continuous empty promises of the successive NDC MPs ," the former Assemblyman of Mafi Dedukope Electoral Area who doubles as a public servant was very optimistic about his chances of winning the seat for the New Patriotic Party.

The royal citizen of Mafi Dedukope promised to serve with a clear direction, focused mission and an innovative bottom to top management approach when given the nod to  lead the party in the 2024 showdown.

The NPP astute young politician lamented the deplorable/death trap nature of the various road networks in the six recognized traditional areas which constituted the North Tongu District such as Dorfor, Mepe, Battor, Fodzoku, Torgorme and Volo.

He mentioned that the road networks linking Sege - Aveyime -Battor- Mepe and from Mepe through Mafi Dove to Sagokope - Afloa - Accra highway were all in bad condition, causing  major inconveniences to commuters in these areas.

Additionally, the NPP parliamentary aspirant stressed that the regular commuters and motorists complained of having to endure snarls and slow moving traffic due to resurfacing potholes on these major roads.

" Although the people in the North Tongu constituency have been voting for the previous NDC government since the year 1992, but the NDC governments and MPs have been taking them for granted. Infact the Battor-Aveyime - Kpong road networks as well as the road from Titikope to Workpoe and also the road from Titikope to Adiddome stretch were also in the very poor state, despite the fact that the people have the sitting Member of Parliament on the ticket of the NDC," he noted.

Mr Agornyrah bemoaned the lack of proper ICT centres, toilet, drainage, market, water, sanitation and road infrastructure facilities, stressing that these above listed problems are confronting the residents staying in the rural and urban communities in the constituency."
"Again the said roads network, ICT centres and poverty alleviation have been some of the major problems plaguing the North Tongu Constituency to which the MP, Mr. Okudzeto-Ablakwa on several campaign platforms had promised to address but still to no avail after many years of being in office,' Mr Agornyrah told the charged crowds of the NPP faithful.

Mr. Agornyrah stressed that he is  constituents’ hope as the one with the magic wand to transform the North Tongu and make things better.
He stated categorically that he will empower the grassroots for the party's victory in  the 2024 polls.
He said strengthening the base of the party and a good strategy were all the NPP needed to win the 2024 general election.
“For some time now my aim has been to help strengthen the foundation, resource the base… so that we will have a strong political party to win the 2024 elections,”he said.
According to him, the decision to contest the NPP parliamentary candidate primaries was a demonstration of his commitment to the party and the constituency .

“This defining moment is not about David Nkegbe Agornyrah. It's just a testament to my personal commitment to the party, people and constituency duty as a citizen to contribute to the betterment of the North Tongu,” he noted.

Addressing party faithful in the North Tongu constituency office of the NPP at Battor after successfully submitting his nomination forms and other relevance electoral documents on Friday July 28, 2023 to run for the NPP parliamentary candidate position, Mr David Agornyrah stated that the next North Tongu MP led by him would restore hope and constituency's  pride.

He, however drew attention to his prior accomplishments and emphasized his dedication to promoting employment growth and economic development by revolutionizing the agricultural industry and building industries across the constituency.

The former student of Kumasi Technical University and Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) stressed  how much the people in the area, especially the young ones, would gain from such initiatives.
The former Communications Team Member of the NPP in UK and Ireland  urged the delegates and members of the NPP in the area to keep their hopes alive.

"I want to repeat that l and my team are happy that we were able to meet the deadline to file the nomination forms and relevant electoral documents with the NPP North Tongu  constituency election committee to enable me to contest the NPP parliamentary candidate primary comes November 2023.
"I would like to point out that the massive endorsement of my candidature of the majority of the members and supporters of the NPP in the various electoral areas within the constituency has clearly showed that the people in the Constituency believe that l am by far best  candidate who can lead the NPP to win the parliamentary seat for the party in the 2024 general election.

"I would like to reassure  all the delegates, supporters, and members of the NPP  in the North Tongu that l am ready to serve them but not to be served after electing their next MP. I am repeating that if the time come for which the delegates and members of the party vote massively to elect me  to win the NPP primaries, l would also plead with the eligible electorates in the North Tongu to vote for me as their servant to win the parliamentary seat from the NDC," Mr Agornyrah reaffirmed.

The aspirant used the opportunity to call for unity noting that it is key for the success of the party revealing he has visited all past executives who contested and lost in the various positions in the party to broker peace.
