I am the Batman, I can fill the O2 Arena by myself - Samini

Legendary Reggae and Dancehall performer Samini claims that, with the correct marketing and financial backing, he has the capacity to completely fill London's famed O2 Arena.

I am the Batman, I can fill the O2 Arena by myself - Samini

Samini, who is well-known for his booming popularity and international brand, is confident that his thrilling performances will draw crowds from all over the world.

The "My Own" hitmaker voiced his confidence in his ability to fill the arena to capacity during a Sunday appearance on Berla Mund's Day Show. He said this while discussing the necessary expenditure and promotional efforts.

"...By myself I will fill it , with the right investment, I will fill it you are talking to Batman before I became Samini. Batman, the Mobo Award winner. Kenya King knows Batman. You are talking to people who know that brand. They know that act from that time, it is thriving and still functioning.

If the right things are put in place, and you promote Samini in London, for four months, six months, three months. I will fill that space"

Samini has stated that he will not invest his personal money in this project, despite his confidence in his ability to fill London's O2 Arena.

Because a Ghanaian wants to see the venue packed, I won't take that money and go and do this. No Ghanaian investor will do that, I assure you.

He continued, "I don't have to trust them; it is not in our culture to dish out sums like that. I have my doubts about Ghanaian investors. You can never alter the way things are. The normal Ghanaian investor will hang out with you, but they won't ever hand you $5,000 and tell you, "Let's have a business plan for your career.

He bemoaned further that despite their prior attempts to contact Ghanaian investors, meetings and support were frequently broken. As Samini explained, "They don't see the end value in what they are doing; they don't see what they will get," this is due to a lack of perceived value in the investments. They won't understand value until it is presented to them. They are aware because we have shown them and visited them.

After Nigerian music giants like Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy, and Tiwa Savage successfully sold out the renowned venue, there have been discussions over whether or not Ghanaian artists will be able to fill the O2 Arena. This has put a lot of pressure on Ghanaian musicians.
