Honorable Benjamin Nartey Ayiku Donates Rams and Cash to the Teshie Muslim Community and Observed Eid Prayers at the Teshie Barracks

The Member of Parliament for the Ledzokuku Constituency, Hon Benjamin Narteh Ayiku on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, donated 12 RAMS to the Teshie Muslim Community towards this year's ElD AL-ADHA( festival of sacrifice) celebration.
Six(6) of the rams were sent to the various Eid prayer grounds within the Ledzokuku constituency namely, Teshie Children's Library, MATS Square( Teshie Military Barracks), TEPS park- Teshie Zongo, Alhaji Salia Abdullahi's Majid holy mosque- Martey Tsuru flower port Mosque, Camp 2 school park and Teshie North Central Mosque- Okpoigonno.
He also made donations to some prominent Muslims in the constituency including the Head of the Teshie Muslims Community, Alhaji Sowah Sediq.
Shiek Alhaji Imam Ibrahim Amartei, Municipal Chief Iman on behalf of Teshie Imams, praised the MP for his consecutive kind gesture to the Muslims during their festivities and offered special prayers to the MP.
EID PRAYERS
The Member of Parliament joined Muslim brothers and sisters in the barracks and its environs on Wednesday 28th June 2023 to observe this year's Eid prayers at the Teshie Military Barracks.
In the MP's speech, he commended the efforts of the Muslim community in promoting peace, love, and understanding. He further posited that their dedication to serving the common good, both during festive occasions and throughout the year sets a remarkable example for all of us and that together we can continue to build bridges of understanding and create an environment where everyone feels valued and respected. He assured them of his support at the Barracks.
Present at the prayer ground included Maj. Gen. Onwona the Commandant of the Teshie Military Camp, Teshie Camp Imam, Representative of the Chief of Defence Staff, Leaders of the Teshie Camp mosque, Constituency executives, Hon Kabu Saint the Assembly member for the area, Ward and branch executives from Okesekor.
The MP, Hon.Benjamin Narteh Ayiku later joined Municipal Chief Iman and Zongo Imams at Children Library and Zongo respectively to receive their blessings of the day.
