High rise of MoMo fraud in Jaman South; police raises red flag

The Jaman South Police Command has issued a red flag against the high rise of momo fraud in the municipality.

According to a police report, the rate at which scammers are defrauding people in Jaman South is gradually getting out of control.

In order to curb the menace, the Jaman South Police Command is cautioning the public to be extra careful in order not to be looted by the confidence tricksters.

Speaking to Soireenews, Chief Inspector, Mark Okyere, the Drobo Police Station Officer charged the public to be vigilant against the menace.

Commenting on the accusations levelled against the Jaman South Police Officers for been too soft in handling criminal related Issues, Chief Inspector Mark Okyere debunked such claims.

According to him, the police as a matter of urgency hands over all possible issues that suppose to be handled by the court for immediate action.

He, therefore, called on the public to assist the police in combating crimes when the needs arise.
