Mr. Henry Quartey, Minister of Greater Accra Region, has announced that as part of executing Operation Clean Your Frontage, sanitary inspectors (SAMAN SAMAN) would be brought back to arrest and penalize persons who litter the environment.
He mentioned this at the start of the enforcement in all of Accra's local assemblies today.
He also promised that as a result of this program, Accra will become Africa's cleanest metropolis.
This initiative will also not cease today but will continue even if he is no longer the regional minister.
