Grealish calls for VAR's abolishment
Aston Villa lost 2-1 to West Ham United on Monday night after a controversial VAR decision.
Jack Grealish has called on the authorities in charge of the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) to abolish it ruins the beauty of the game.
The technology has sparked controversies since the start of the current campaign as to how offsides are adjudged plus other infringements which has put centre referees in a tight corner been tagged by fans as game disrupters.
Ollie Watkins scored an apparent equalizer for Aston Villa but the goal was disallowed by VAR because his forearm was offside.

Ollie Watkins scored an injury-time equalizer for Aston Villa in their game against West Ham United on Monday night but VAR denied the goal which according to the captain, is a foregone conclusion.

He took to Twitter to express his displeasure saying, “As for VAR, I’ve shared my views before and it’s now just getting borderline embarrassing with some off the decisions. Ruining the game.”
The win moves the Hammers to fifth place in the Premier League.
