Graduates urged to keep hope alive Phase2Face Beauty Clinic and College graduates 16 graduates

Phase2Face Beauty Clinic and College has successfully graduated 16 people in various courses on vocational and technical education and training (TVET).

The graduates upon successful completion of this phase were urged to live their dreams by keeping hopes alive.

At a graduation ceremony held at Dome Pillar 2, these young people who defiled all odds to complete their courses were given the blessings to start their entrepreneurial journey.

The ceremony was also used to relaunch the beauty clinic and college. The President of the college, Mrs Faustina Nor Abini who was excited to achieve this feat spoke to the media.

According to the elated President, the desire to establish Phase2Face Beauty Clinic and College was driven by her passion for creating opportunities for people to reduce unemployment in the country.

She said the graduates from this college have been equipped with the requisite knowledge and skills to fend for themselves without relying on government and family for survival. She posited that Phase2Face Beauty Clinic and College is well positioned with state -of- arts facilities to provide the best TVET for people who desire to be entrepreneurs.

She advised that people who aim to achieve their goals should be persistent with what they do while avoiding all tendencies to give up when discouragement rears its ugly head.

She was however positive that people who may appear to be discouraging will come to them if they can succeed in what they do.

Dr Stephen Turkson, an international CBT expert on TVET educational technologies was the chairperson for the occasion.

In his address, he said the notion by people that TVET is for people who are non-achievers and failures should be debunked.

He said this is not true because the TVET is more complicated than the liberal courses and that people who are not achievers cannot have the mental fortitude to undertake the course.

According to him, people who choose TVET have made the right decision because the course provides the skills and knowledge that is used in the line of work.

He said countries that have developed certainly have their development hinged on TVET.

He admonished the graduates to make meaningful life from the knowledge and skills acquired. He encouraged parents to enroll their kids in TVET because it's the best way to develop the country.

Some of the graduates could not hide their joy for their successful graduation.

One of them, Grace Sharon Sarponmaa said the God-fearing factor on the part of the President of the College encouraged her to complete the course.

She urged many who have completed the various levels of education and are seeking employment to enroll themselves in Phase2Face Beauty Clinic and College.

Another, Eric Arthur said his conviction to undertake vocational education made him quit his former school to enroll in Phase2Face Beauty Clinic and College. Through this program, he can work for many artists and musicians.

He encouraged people to make good use of the opportunities available and learn from the college. He said the skills acquired are making life comfortable for him.
