Government To Establish Spare  Parts Village In Afienya National Concerned Spare Parts Dealers Denies Allegation
LThe National Concerned Spare Parts Dealers appealed to the general public and a section of the media that they are not against President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo's led New Patriotic Party (NPP) government’s policy of establishing a spare parts village in Afienya of the Greater Accra Region.
According to the members of the Association, they are rather in support of any policy that the government wants to establish. Policies like One District, One Factory, NABCO, and so on, are to empower the youths.
"Now, our position is clear based on our press conference on the 10th of May, 2022 that we are not relocating to Afienya. Therefore, the government can go ahead and develop Afienya spare parts hub, the leadership of the Association in the persons of Mr. Richard  Obeng and Takyi Addo noted in a press conference today in Accra.

Addressed the press conference on behalf of the Association, Mr. Richard Obeng announced that the Table Top and Second-Hand Associations of Abossey Okai are in support of the National Spare Parts Dealers Association against the relocation of the entire Abossey Okai to Afienya.
According to him, there is a report circulating online that everyone in Abossey Okai has accepted the relocation. This reportage is false, mischievous, and propaganda.
He advised the media to disregard such reportage since our position has already been made clear.
