Bisa Kdei has stated that it would be absurd for anyone to claim that Ghana's music industry cannot survive without Shatta Wale, Sarkodie and Stonebwoy.

According to the singer, anyone trying to create the impression that the industry only gets by because of the "3S" big artistes is just trying to disrespect the host of others in the industry.

Bisa challenged that there would be no collapse in music if the three artistes were to disappear and life would just move on as usual.

When asked how important the big 3S artistes presence were to the industry the ‘Mansa’ Hitmaker replied: “I have not heard anyone make such a suggestion but what I would say is that it is not possible.

“Everyone has got the genre of music that their doing and right now in Ghana we’ve got a lot of artistes doing different types of genres. I'm sure that opinion can’t be factual because we have a lot of Ghanaian artistes who are doing marvelous works out there.

“The fact that some artistes are good in making noise about their works doesn’t mean the rest are not up to the task or are asleep as the person sought to suggest,” he made his thoughts known while speaking to Amansan Krakye in an exclusive interview on Radio Central.

This view comes in sharp contrast with the opinions of Ghanaian blogger and entertainment pundit, George Britton who enthused that the Ghanaian music industry would not survive if Shatta Wale, Sarkodie and Stonebwoy were to be taken out of it. The view sparked a war of words with Edem as both went on a very short-lived feud on social media.

Bisa Kdei has weighed in on the situation now, firmly backing Edem in the view that Ghana's music industry is independent of any number of artists.
