Ghanaian media personality, George Britton, has offered an apology to Edem after their recent war of words on social media.

He stated the need for all celebrities to come together to fight the system that's keeping them from being very successful instead of fighting amongst themselves.

He apologized for going after Edem with heavy and demeaning words in a bid to regain their relationship as it is very important for them to come together to fight against the music system that hinders the growth of musicians in the country.

George Britton went on his Facebook page to make amends, he wrote: “Rather than fighting amongst ourselves, let’s fight the system that has impoverished the Ghanaian musician. We need a better industry, and with that in mind, I will apologize to my brother Edem Go get’em for engaging in an ugly social media banter. As colleagues and mates in the industry, we should have a united front in this fight. We can only win when we are together, divided we fail. #LetsWinTogether #GeorgeBritton.”

He came out to apologise after he was asked to by the PRO of Edem describing George's comments as shallow and lacking any real sense. He asked George to apologise, as it does not make any sense to bicker and argue about meaningless things.

Edem and George’s disagreement started after the latter said in a discussion on Joy Prime’s ‘Showbiz Now’ with KMJ on Tuesday, April 28, 2020, that the Ghana music industry will be inactive without Sarkodie, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale.

In the midst of their argument, George Britton told Edem to wake up from his sleep, work hard and learn how to stay relevant in the music scene.
